Proposed and Existing
The appearance of Buildings 3 & 4 will not be substantially altered. Building 3 (known as the Potting Shed) will have some traditional conservation roof lights to provide daylight towards the back of this single aspect building, and new glazed doors. The all bar casements will be replaced with painted softwood, double glazed windows to the same pattern. Building 4 (known as the Cart Shed) will retain its oak posts on staddle stones, and will have double glazed slide and fold screens to enclose the living space.
The boarded door in the west elevation of the Cart Shed is to be retained and rehung to act as a shutter. A bespoke new casement painted softwood window will be fitted into the original door opening.
