The proposal is a single story rear extension to create a lighted living room and dining area. The extension has been built with reconstructed slate, insulated roof with 2 conservation skylights. The extension received a Crittal glazed steel frame to the door openings. The well located in the centre of the room has been covered with a thick glass frame and is displaying led lights in the well interior, creating a design feature for the new extension. The proposed extension echoes the 1990’s extension to the adjoining cottage.
